01Overview
Short, runnable examples for Solari — cloud browsers, sandboxes and desktops behind one API key. Every example is a complete program you can run in under a minute.
Nine of them, across TypeScript and Python: browser quickstarts, stealth mode with residential proxy egress, reusable login profiles, session recording, sandbox quickstart, a stateful Python kernel for agent loops, public port previews, and computer use on a Linux desktop.
It is documentation shaped as code, and the constraint that makes it work is the one that is hardest to hold.
02The problem
SDK examples usually fail in one of two directions. Either they are toy snippets that omit everything real — auth, cleanup, error handling — or they are a full application where the one idea you came for is buried under scaffolding.
Both waste the reader's time in the same way: they cannot copy it and they cannot trust it.
03Architecture
- 01
One idea per example
Each directory demonstrates exactly one capability. Stealth and proxying is its own example; session reuse is its own example. Combining them is left to the reader, because that is the part they actually understand best.
- 02
Self-contained directories
Each example carries its own manifest and installs on its own — `npm install` or `pip install -r requirements.txt`, one environment variable, run. Nothing depends on repository-level scaffolding.
- 03
Both languages, deliberately paired
The browser and sandbox quickstarts exist in TypeScript and Python side by side, so a reader can see the same idea in the language they work in without translating.
- 04
Three surfaces
Browser (navigate, extract, stealth, profiles, recording), sandbox (commands, files, stateful kernels, port previews) and desktop (screenshot, click, type).
04Key decisions
No shared framework across examples
A shared helper module would have removed duplication and destroyed the property that makes the collection useful — that any single directory can be copied out whole.
Runnable in under a minute, as an acceptance test
That constraint is what keeps examples from growing. Anything that pushes past it gets cut rather than explained.
